From Nehemiah 6 as the Jews continue rebuilding the wall around a broken Jerusalem despite opposition, "For they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, 'Their hands will drop from the work, and it will not be done.' But now, O God, strengthen my hands."
Keep striving to accomplish good work and asking Him for strength to do so. Persevere this week.

From Psalm 56 when David was captured by his enemies, "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you." I appreciate the seeming simple causality here: fear --> trust.
Keep fighting/loving/working/pursuing & trusting.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:14-16

From Tim Keller's Walking with God through Pain and Suffering:
When Jesus was suffering in Gethsemane, he could have aborted the mission. He could have said, "Why should I go literally to hell for these disciples of mine who don't understand me, won't stand by me, and can't even stay awake with me in my hour of greatest need?" No, he didn't do that. He went into suffering for us. He did not abandon us despite all his own suffering. Do you think he will abandon you now in the midst of yours?

For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God -- his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
... For you equipped me with strength for the battle;
... The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation...
Psalm 18

After the Lord gives Israel the king they wanted (which in context was a bad thing, I believe) and the people ask Samuel to pray for them because of that sin, Samuel says
"Do not be afraid; you have done all this evil. Yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. And do not turn aisde after empty things that cannot profit or deliver, for they are empty. For the Lord will not forsake his people, for his great name's sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself. ... Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you."

A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.

I consider everyone here to fall into the "awesome" category, WHATEVER quirks or flaws we all have.....

“The sovereignty of God is mysterious but not contradictory. It means that we have great incentive to use our wisdom and our will to the best effect, knowing God holds us to it and knowing we will suffer consequences from foolishness and wickedness. On the other hand, there is absolute promise that we cannot ultimately mess up our lives.” - Tim Keller

"I have been hunted like a bird by those who were my enemies without cause; they flung me alive into the pit and cast stones on me; water closed over my head; I said, 'I am lost'. I called on your name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit; you heard my plea, 'Do not close your ear to my cry for help!' You came near when I called on you; you said, 'Do not fear!'" (Lamentations 3)

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. (James 1)
Stand your ground. God is with us.
