Love to play games, used to play much more back in the day but I still find time for a round or two. Right now I´m playing Dark Souls III (mostly pvp), Hearthstone (to chill out) and I´m about to start Hellblade. Also finished the Witcher 3 some months ago. When I was still in school we used to play Teekken 3 all the time. Also I´m a PC player through and through although I loved my PS2 and SNES ^_^

I play Pokemon Shuffle most every day. Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Halo, Pokemon X, Sun, and Ultra Moon. That's the basics, but there's some games I enjoy that are less common.
I really enjoy Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson. Hikage is my favorite character, and I actually wrote a song about Hibari. Bravely Default and Bravely Second are a lot of fun. The Epic Battle Fantasy franchise is hecka fun. Chameleon Twist and Space Station Silicon Valley are two old N64 games that I love. Also Bomberman Hero. Chip's Challenge, an old PC game, and I found it on Steam with a sequel. Doki Doki Literature Club... and WORLD OF TANKS! I've sunk nearly a hundred bucks into that game so far. Got the Primo Victoria and the Girls Und Panzer tanks. Other than that Sabaton tank, I'm most a tier IV through VI player right now.

Madelyn oh my goodness, "Chip's Challenge" -- classic. I haven't thought of that game for at least a decade and a half but like a week ago I was talking with a friend and we brought old PC games and I could NOT think of this title for the life of me. ... Now that you've mentioned the title, I can lay my weary soul to rest.

Apparently there was a Diablo 2 patch back in December and they've done away with botting. I do enjoy botting but I've secretly wanted a ladder season without bots to play legit for a long time now so I'm jumping on it. Game is currently downloading. I hurt my tailbone so no work today... perfect day to game all day... supposed to be freezing rain so no going outside! LOL

I'm still playing the same game I've been playing every day since early October 2016. (the one that has a thread of a billion posts in outskirts mostly made by me) Hands on about 3-4 hours a day. Never gets old and my character is STILL GROWING after all that time.
Can any of you gents say the same about a game? Stuck with it for 15-16 months and still not bored with it? Cause this is the first time I've ever STILL been invested in a game for that length of time.
Despite my frustrations with one of the newer boss's (glares at Vidar) Ire Blood Memory is as close to a perfect game (for me) that I can imagine.
10bird's offline companion piece (Animus: Stand Alone) is every bit as good if not better in some ways. I just wish it would hurry up and come to Android because I'm not able to grind like I want to grind with the times I get to borrow my wife's phone. XD

I have been playing Skyrim for over five years, Star Wars: The Old Republic for six, and several Star Wars games for over ten years. I go in cycles with RuneScape, but I have never really quit in the last ten years.

Very nice gents. So glad to see someone else like games enough to stick with them for years.
I also like when games have a community and other players refer to you as "father", "master", "legend" or "senpai" because of your knowledge, length of time playing and personality. ...not to mention the developers "sticky" an FAQ a player created, in the game itself for others to see. (all of which are true in my case with Ire Blood Memory)

I try to play when I can. Most of the time lately I'm playing whatever I can get through the Xbox Game Pass. So I played Sea of Thieves for a few weeks and it got a bit repetitive. Recently finished Dead Rising 3. Now I have started Metal Gear Solid 5

I´ve never tried the original. For me the original "Souls" game is Demon's Souls. For me the original "prepare to die" from From Software is King's Field. Gotta love dying in less than 10 seconds from starting a new game on King's Field - The Ancient City. This is when the player learns to walk AROUND ground that looks like that. XD

Lately since I am pumped about Mega Man 11 coming on October 2nd, I am finishing ALL the Mega Man games again via the Mega Man Legacy Collection part 1 and 2. Starting on 3 (the first one I ever played as a kid), in the last week I finished 3 and 4, finished 5 last night and just started 6. Then I will probably skip 7 and 8 and finish 9 and 10, the circle back to 2 and save the hardest, Mega Man 1 for last and maybe then work on 7 and 8.
THEN on July 24th the Mega Man X Legacy Collection comes out, so I will be going through all 8 games in the Mega Man X Series too. I have my work cut out for me

So this past weekend I realized they added the new DOOM game to the Xbox Game Pass (subscription service that rotates out free games). Downloaded it and played it alot over the weekend. This game is alot of fun, very visceral and hectic and ultra-violent. After the last several weeks I have had I think I really needed to play this game. I actually feel quite a bit better after playing it.

Just finished DOOM (2016) last night. Just in time to see news that a sequel, Doom: Eternal is scheduled for a 2019 release. What interesting about this is that in the QuakeCon 2018 footage they showed a short clip of an environment that is a blue-ish colored sci-fi fanstasy looking city. The developer made a comment during the presentation "whats this place? We havent been here before." Many fans speculate that at some point you enter Heaven in the next DOOM. If that is true then I sure hope they dont go down the Bayonetta route and have you fighting angels.
However if you have to go to Heaven and help fight off invading demons then I can totally get behind that, just give me a white horse.

I tried another mobile game on a whim last night. BuriedBornes.
I loved the presentation - like the NES Dragon Warrior on steroids.... but the layout and mechanics were so confusing, I didn't understand what I was doing or what was going on. So I uninstalled after about 20 minutes of "trying".

I think I'm going to try out Forza Horizon 4 when i comes out in October, I've been playing 2 since it was added to the Xbox Game Pass service this month and its not bad.

As much as I enjoy Ire, I think I'm stuck in a gaming rut. RPGs and incremental games are a bit of a preference, but it almost seems to me that no matter how good a game is, I just don't want to "start over" with another game and fumble through its mechanics/features as I learn it. I'd like a casual game to play, as an alternative to the vast and complex Ire world.... but every casual mobile game that has ever existed has a color scheme like a Sega Genesis ate a toddler's room and then threw up. I'd like SOME RPG elements (leveling, building), but most of these games are controlling 30,000 different characters or you only get to level structures. I'm really only interested in playing as 1 character. I realize all mobile games are going to have some element of RNG (random number generator) but when that's too much of the game's workings, I might as well play mobile slots. I've ragequitted so many games because 30 minutes into it, I'm still held hostage by the "training". BuriedBornes was right up my alley with presentation - it was dark, 1 character, "easy to play (casual), hard to master" but after giving it another 20 minute attempt, I'm really done this time. It was like trying to memorize a dictionary that was in another language.

Yeah, then Brave Exvius is definitely not for you. Its got the whole gacha system thing.

Lately I've started getting back into Rocket League with the guys I played it with in high school and it has been so much fun. There's something about that game that will never get old for me.

Just downloading Simutrans. I am truly sorry... but SimuTrans is crap. I don't get any of my transport lines to work. So I downloaded OpenTTD (a free clone of Transport Tycoon Deluxe). Played it for half an hour now. It's great so far. I think it is addictive. So if any of you guys where into TTD (or are, like myself, for some reasons obsessed with the idea of building the perfect transport system!), download it and tell me if you like it!

I've been playing Path of Exile (true successor to Diablo 2, is a better Diablo 2 sequel than Diablo 3)... very complex, high learning curve but rewarding once you put the time in. VERY rewarding. Fun end game, lots to do. Game is free to play and the only micro transactions are cosmetic (no pay to win). Highly recommend for PC. It's actually on Xbox and PlayStation now too, but I play on PC.
I'm going to give the Diablo Immortal mobile game a try when it eventually comes out. For now, I'm back to playing UFC on mobile. Just something to fill the time.
