This is the first track of Duister Maanlicht's new release "Heidenhaat, de Komst der Plagen". Now you might argue that Duister Maanlicht is not a christian bm project perse, and that is correct. The lyrics of this song are though so that's why I posted it in here. I could post the lyrics if somebody wants me to, but since they're all in Dutch... Duister Maanlicht - Goddeloos Gezwatel voor het Volk That’s a good song!

Despite the themes of Revelation, the apocalypse ... I found it similar to a lot of black metal based around forests and nature. It's very, very subtle, but I definitely detected that "atmosphere" - maybe it's just me. It's unusual for sure, but I'm not complaining!

It's very, very subtle, but I definitely detected that "atmosphere" - maybe it's just me. Not just you bro. I got that too. Maybe its just me, but any time a extreme Christian metal doesn't mention God or Jesus by name in their lyrics, it just sounds like they're talking about something else. I'm not complaining either though, because they did explain the lyrics on that page. Anything this band does is going to be my favorite CBM of 2020, for sure. I was very happy to see this.

Nailed the production here. I love Melancton's vocals. Probably my favorite CBM vocalist. He reminds me of Vintersorg (A big personal favorite) only better.

Was posting on Dalit's FB page asking about when their new album was coming out, since it's been recorded I believe for over a year (what's wrong with Endtime that they take FOREVER releasing finished albums?). Sounds like Cloth will be coming out with a new album as well! Love Stronghold, Aspiration and these two bands. Lot's of interconnected greatness.

(what's wrong with Endtime that they take FOREVER releasing finished albums?) I would love to know. It's so weird. I heard from someone that Serpent's Breath's album has been finished for six years now, going on seven.

I heard from someone that Serpent's Breath's album has been finished for six years now, going on seven. That's crazy! I forgot all about them. It's been over 3 years since they announced it was coming out! The funny thing about my above post is that I'm glad Cloth aren't signed to Endtime. They have been recording their album over the past 7-8 months but we're WAY more likely to see their album released soon. What makes these bands sign with Endtime? Are they now bound by some terrible contract? The product is always top notch, fantastically packaged but the process!... For a label that has like 5 bands and releases a single album a year (maybe) it's a profound mystery!

Shadows of Paragon are done recording their album. Just need to mix, master and prepare it for the rest of us!

- Cloth are releasing a new EP soon! - The wait is over, Batyushka have released another album! Who would have guessed?! By the way I find it interesting how their music seems to be taking a "happier" direction lately. - The rest of O Majestic Winter's albums are up on Bandcamp now! - Lucifer Impaled is working on a new release! Sample here

Still not interested in a physical release?
I want to do it. But I think you can have something much better.

I couldn't get into Proven Existence as much, but What Brings Ruin is definitely scratching an itch right now for me.

An update: I have very good reason to believe the Sylvan Fortress "Enthroned on White" EP will be out by the end of this year... probably in the fall.

I haven't really been keeping up with this thread, but I figured this was worth mentioning: Moreld - Tidarkverv is now on Bandcamp! It was released in 2011 on CD and has been very difficult to find ever since. Folk/black fans should check this out!

This is not bad at all, but I think I´d like it much more if it was only folk music, might be just me but kinda don´t feel the vibe. To be fair it´s "just" an EP so who know where this could go, but would love to hear them develop to full potential.
