What I got out of that song title is that life is full of desire - for things we can't have, for things that are sinful - and that because of this, life is full of suffering.
But CW also has a point in that we sometimes desire good things as well. I would chalk the song title up to "art", honestly. I'm really obsessive-compulsive about making sure the message of my lyrics and song titles is very very clear, but most people don't seem to worry about that as much as I do.

I haven't had a chance to check it out but I will when I get back from work. Looks interesting. I'll also post any new stuff I find. What do y'all think of what I've been posting recently?

I really like that Violet Cold that you posted. Reminds me of Sorrow Plagues a bit in its emotion.

Yeah I really like both projects. And it's supper cool that it's just one guy from Azerbaijan. Unfortunately it's not metal enough to be consider "metal"on Metal Archives.
I checked out My Purest Heart for You and couldn't really get into it. It's a spawn of Summoning with the drums being the main focus of the mix. Sure they are incredible drums, but i don't listen to music for the drums, I listen fro the guitar and vocals and bass (and keys if any are there). The whole melody of the band took a back seat as the percussion came in the spotlight. I am uninterested in bands like this. I'll listen to whatever new stuff they make though. It wasn't bad

Arx Atrata is like a more aggressive Lustre. It's interesting.

Nocturnal Grace - Atmospheric Black Metal/Post-Punk (I guess...) I'd give the melodies an 8/10 but the drum machine are not very good. Still cool stuff nocturnalgrace.bandcamp.com/releases

WHOA! Saor is coming out with new music. You can check out one of the songs right now. The mix is frustrating to me, but you forget about it when the strings come in later in the song. This IS breath-taking! saor.bandcamp.com/album/guardians

Like I said, I don't listen to this kind of music much anymore, but there are a few songs I still like. Here they are.
I used to have that DotDotDot/Shyy split, but I destroyed it because I was annoyed at one of the band members. Let's just say he hurt an old friend of mine. (I wonder if that friend ever visits here? If they did, would they recognize this incredibly vague reference to them?) Still, it was only that one guy, not the whole band or anything - I kind of wish I still had the album.

Awesome music, awful album title.
Edit: For clarification, the title bugs me because it makes me think of escapism, as if the band is suggesting to lose yourself in their music to find peace. Peace can only be found through God. I get that the phrase "lose yourself to find peace" could be taken in a Christian way too (you have to "lose yourself" (repent) to find God and thus find peace), but I doubt that was the band's intention.

Make sure to check out the previous album! I think it's just as good! I already did, and it's too cheesy for me. I usually like keyboards in black metal, but not the way that they are on that album.
